On Sunday October 30 the daylight savings ends for this northern summer. Clocks go back 1 Hour!

A learned friend of mine once said:-
“Why do they need to mess with the clock twice a year by 1 hour? Why don’t they just change the time by half an hour and leave the damn thing alone!”

Probably a good suggestion considering all the problems introduced by adjusting the local times.

Most support will be unavailable from 29 October 2005 thru about 10 November 2005 whilst we are travelling from Texas to Perth via London and Cairo ( We want to see the Pyramids :-) ).

It may be possible to provide some limited support via email at times along the journey.

If urgent, send support requests to my usual email address and I shall attempt to logon and read/respond where I can.

Thanks

John

We travel from Texas to Western Australia in the first week of November 2005. Travel is via London (for just a flight connection) and then onto Dubai, then to Cairo. In Cairo we will see the pyramids and some tourist sites.

Then it is back on the planes for the 11 hour flight down to Perth :-(

The flights from London to Dubai and Dubai to Perth are courtesy of Emirates.
